A Quick Reminder that THIS Saturday, October 5, we are doing something different and FUN with accomplished television producer and historical novelist Stephanie Storey.

The workshop is entitled Write like an Actor.

Stephanie will share a lot of tips and tricks not usually taught to writers. She will be looking at the critical topic of VOICE, an instant dealbreaker for agents and publishers. She'll teach an exercise to help you find your true voice as an author, one that engages editors and readers.

But that's not all. There will be ideas for producing better dialogue, getting in touch with characters’ emotions and motivations, developing strong points of view, and finding character details that are specific and important.

Actors know how to live more fully inside the messy truth of human relationships and make imaginary people come to life. Just what writers also need!

Participants will leave this class with a new, unique box of tools that will help them take their writing to the next level.

You can read more about Stephanie's significant accomplishments in Wikipedia and on her site. More about her workshop on October 5 and registration HERE.

Finding our stories . . . and ourselves.

A dash of Prose:

Sometimes she'd
like to be
wild and free,
her own dog,
almost wolf,
living off the land.

But usually . . . not.
