Volunteers invited to lead the 2019 Christmas Parade
To celebrate ‘Thank A Volunteer Day’, and in recognition of the great contributions volunteers make to our local community, the City of Armadale and Armadale Volunteer Services would like to invite local volunteers to lead our 2019 annual Christmas Parade. Join us in celebration on 6 December for the Christmas Parade, followed by Carols by Candlelight. All participants receive a free T-shirt, sausage sizzle and a drink, plus a big thank you for your volunteering contribution.
To express your interest, email volunteering@armadale.wa.gov.au or call 9394 5000 by 1 November to register.

Christmas Parade -  Friday 6 December, 6pm down the Jull Street Mall
Carols by Candlelight -  Friday 6 December, 7pm at Memorial Park
Join in the festivities of the Christmas Parade as Santa Claus leads the procession down Jull Street Mall to Memorial Park in the City Centre. Celebrate with family and friends while the kids enjoy the colourful characters and magic of Christmas festivities in Armadale. As evening approaches, grab a LED candle and songbook to sing along with local schools and community choirs, supported with live music by the Armadale City Concert Band. Home to the annual Salvation Army Christmas Food Bank appeal, we encourage you to bring non-perishable food items and groceries for those in need in your community. This is a family friendly, smoke and alcohol free event.
