Inner East PCP Updates
Executive Officer's Report
Funding agreements for PCPs across the State are due to end on 31 December 2019, and although the contract has been recurrent since 2000, PCPs have become increasingly concerned about the future, with no certainty of rollover being communicated by State government.

Victorian Population Health Survey 2017 Council Dashboards
The findings from the Victorian Population Health Survey 2017 are presented as dashboards for each of the 79 councils in Victoria, their corresponding Health Area and Division, as well as for the state of Victoria.
Making the Invisible Visible
A Report into the Partnership Approach of Seven Rural & Regional PCPs in Victoria. This report articulates the value of local partnerships for their organisations and communities. 
Consultations
NDIS 

The Government has appointed an independent expert, Mr David Tune AO PSM, to lead the review. People with disability, their families and carers can have their say by:
  • Completing the survey online (available from 9 September 2019)
  • Providing a written submission (submission process open from 26 August 2019)
  • Participating in a face-to-face workshop (September – October 2019)

Victorian Cancer Plan 2020 - 2024
Have your say on the priorities for the Victorian cancer plan 2020-2024 to improve cancer outcomes for all Victorians.
This year the campaign is aimed at increasing the rate of Newstart and associated allowances by $75 a week. Around a million Australians are reliant on these payments which have not been increased in real
terms for more than 25 years.
Grants

VicHealth council grants 

Grants of $10,000-$15,000 are available for councils to:
  1. Promote the This Girl Can - Victorian campaign to women in their local community
  2. Offer beginner-friendly activity opportunities as part of This Girl Can Week (March 2020)
  3. Support facility operators to actively help women and girls get active
Closing Friday 25th October

Opportunities for people with disability
These grants aim to:
  • build the capacity of the community to create opportunities for people with disability to contribute to community prosperity and participate in community life.
  • fund activities that will enable: people with disability to use and benefit from the same mainstream health services as everyone else; and improved access and utilisation of mainstream health services where mainstream supports available.
Fostering Integration Grants 
The Australian Government is inviting applications to apply to deliver services under the Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship Program: Fostering Integration Grants in 2019-20.
