Meet and Greet volunteer
Be apart of the meet and greet team at one of Cancer Research UK's race days and help to support runners and the life-saving work of cancer research
The Samaritans provide confidential and non-judgemental emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of emotional distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide

Listening Helper (Samaritans)
We need non-judgemental volunteers who can offer a sympathetic ear to telephone "befriend" any type of caller
The Croydon 60+ Club provides companionship, stimulation and lively conversation to all people aged 60+ in the Croydon area
Tea Maker
We would like someone to make tea for the members. The role will be making drinks, washing up the cups and talking to our members

Out for Good is a brand new, real-world social group for LGBT+ people with one thing in common, they want to make a real difference in their communities

Girlguiding Croydon is a part of Girlguiding, the largest organisation in the UK and offers an exciting programme of activities for girls and young women across Croydon

The Enterprise Swimming Club provides recreational swimming activities for disabled people with the object of improving their conditions of life regardless of their disability or age

Age UK Croydon run an extensive range of activities and services to promote the health, wellbeing and independence of older people in Croydon
Telephone Helpline
Provide information and advice to Croydon residents, their families and carers, by telephone (and email) at our Age UK office based in Thornton Heath
Trustee
Become a Trustee and gain experience within a major UK charity whilst helping to govern its actions and improve its development within the Croydon area
The Alive Community Centre collects fresh food, bread and milk from local supermarkets and distributes them to needy families and individuals in the Croydon area

Lunch Club helper
We provide a cheap, healthy meal for people on Fridays and we need help to welcome people to the luncheon and make them feel comfortable
Croydon Vision works towards delivering a high quality service to blind and partially sighted people in the Croydon area

Attendees will learn about the prevalence, myths and stereotypes of domestic abuse and how to identify them within the Islamic community as well as offer support. The event will involve presentations, case studies and informal discussions. This is a free event in partnership with the Strengthening Faith Institutions.
