TEDxNHS livestream events

The inspirational TEDxNHS 2019 will be livestreamed from London to our three Innovation Agency sites on 4 October and all are welcome to attend.

This year our Programme Manager for Engagement Charlotte Hall has helped select and coach the speakers – who include our former colleague Jen Gilroy-Cheetham. The theme is ‘Beyond our Component Parts’ and the livestream takes place between 10am and 6pm at:

• The lecture theatre in the Daresbury Laboratory
• Liverpool Science Park
• Preston Business Centre Innovation Agency meeting room

Some of the region’s best pioneers in digital health were recognised at the North West Skills Development Network’s Informatics Awards, sponsored by the Innovation Agency and presented during the Connect 2019 conference. The winners were:

Cheshire and Merseyside Care Home Academy

Care home staff from across Cheshire and Merseyside are celebrating the culmination of six months of shared learning about how they can continue to improve patient care. 

The Cheshire and Merseyside Care Home Academy brought together system leaders in the area’s CCGs and local authorities to recruit staff from 13 care homes for a series of learning sessions on workplace culture, quality improvement and leadership.
