2019 Sleep Cheap Charities Reap Reservation Dates Announced
NIAGARA FALLS, ON - Reservations for the much anticipated 16th Annual Sleep Cheap Charities Reap event can be made starting Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 8:00 a.m.
Sleep Cheap will run 5 nights again this year–Sunday November 10 will be the start of the 2019 Sleep Cheap event, which will run up to and including Thursday November 14, 2019. Many of Niagara’s finest hotels will offer rooms to Niagara Region residents only during the event. Minimum donations for rooms remain the same as last year: $35 per night for a standard room, $45 for a Fallsview room, $65 for a whirlpool room, and $85 for a room with access to a waterpark. Please note that the new Municipal Accommodation Tax of $2 per night will apply. 2019 Sleep Cheap hotels are listed online at sleepcheapcharitiesreap.com.
Sleep Cheap is also pleased to announce the following extra features for Niagara Region residents:

COMING SOON: WonderFalls Pass 2019
The WonderFalls Pass provides Niagara Region residents the opportunity to visit 10 of Niagara Falls' must-see tourist attractions for only $10.00 per person, during the week of Sleep Cheap! This initiative was created by Councillor Victor Pietrangelo in 2015.
WonderFalls Pass 2019 attraction information will also be announced in the coming weeks.
Charitable Donation Application
The Sleep Cheap Charities Reap Committee is seeking applications from local charities and registered not-for-profits serving residents of the City of Niagara Falls that are interested in receiving a donation from funds generated by the annual Sleep Cheap Charities Reap initiative.
Eligibility requirements and application forms are available on the City’s website niagarafalls.ca. Please note that the application deadline is Friday, November 15, 2019.
The 2019 recipients of the charitable donations, as selected by the Sleep Cheap Charities Reap Committee through the application process, will be announced in December. 100% of the funds raised through Sleep Cheap benefit local charities.
Sleep Cheap Charities Reap
In 2004, then Councillor Jim Diodati initiated an event to celebrate the City’s 100th Anniversary and promote goodwill between the tourist industry and the residents of the City of Niagara Falls. Sleep Cheap Charities Reap took the concept a step further in 2005, supporting some of Niagara’s most deserving charities. The event provides an opportunity for Niagara Falls residents to experience some of the City’s most prestigious hotel properties and attractions for a fraction of the cost, and the proceeds are donated to a fund benefiting local charities. 2019 is the 16th Annual Sleep Cheap Charities Reap event. Over $2 million has been raised to date.
