Calling all Suffragists!
Just a friendly reminder that we will be walking together in the WVU Homecoming Parade tomorrow, October 4 in honor of the women and men who fought for the passage and ratification of the 19th Amendment 100 years ago.
Line up is at 5:30 p.m. on Willey St. across from BB&T.
We will also be honoring women of color who did not necessarily get that right, even tho the Constitution guaranteed it.
No costume is required although we recommend a white shirt and black bottom, a hat if you want, and a full costume if you’re adventurous.
Let us know if we can count on you to participate! Please note: Men are encouraged to walk too!
