Preview for Sunday
A Hero's Journey

Join us as Dawn Mathis guest speaks for us on Sunday. She attended Unity years ago and is excited to be with us again this Sunday. Her talk will be based on the 4-week course, of which she is a certified instructor, that was written by Mary Morrissey called:  "Standing Firm When Your World is Shaking."

For over 30 years, Dawn has worked with students, medical patients, real estate clients, senior citizens and caregivers to help them achieve their goals, accelerate their results, and create richer, more fulfilling lives.

Dawn has studied the Principles and teachings of the greatest thinkers and avatars of success: Andrew Carnegie, Napolean Hill, Henry David Thoreau, Alan Cohen, James Allen, Emerson, Mary Morrissey, and others.

She blends her understanding of these Success Principles with her own life experiences and life lessons to help clients achieve extraordinary results in accelerated time.

She will also have information about her retreat in Jan 2020:  "A Hero's Journey" (the full 4-week course over a 3-night stay in the mountains).

Also, if you would be interested in the 4-week course and her 2020 Vision Workshop here at our Unity, please let her know, as she is open to facilitating the course for us for a love offering that she would donate back to our Unity.

October's movie is Buck

Rated PG
(for thematic elements, mild language and an injury)

“Your horse is a mirror to your soul, and sometimes you may not like what you see. Sometimes, you will.” So says Buck Brannaman, a true American cowboy and sage on horseback who travels the country for nine grueling months a year helping horses with people problems. BUCK, a richly textured and visually stunning film, follows Brannaman from his abusive childhood to his phenomenally successful approach to horses.

A real life “horse-whisperer”, he eschews the violence of his upbringing and teaches people to communicate with horses through leadership and sensitivity, not punishment. Buck possesses near magical abilities as he dramatically transforms horses—and people—with his understanding, compassion and respect. In this film, the animal-human relationship becomes a metaphor for facing the daily challenges of life. A truly American story about an unsung hero, Buck is about an ordinary man who has made an extraordinary life despite tremendous odds.

Next Drumming Circle is Wednesday,
October 9th at 7pm in the Rumi Room
Next StoryZime is Wednesday, October 16th, at 6:30pm in the Rumi Room at Unity of Fort Collins.

People are asking, "How can I donate to Unity?"

Some folks have expressed curiosity on how to best donate regularly even when they can’t attend services. We want to make it as easy as possible for you, so we offer several options:

~ Go to our “Links” page on our website (unityfc.org/links) and click on the “Donate” button. After clicking on it, you will be taken to a Paypal page. From there, you can choose to make a one-time payment, or you can choose to make it monthly. You can use your debit/credit card or your Paypal account.

~ Set up a one-time or reoccurring payment through your own bank with their "Bill Pay." You will need our address, below. Then your bank mails Unity a check(s).

~ Snail mail a check to us (1401 West Vine Dr., 80521).

~ Call the office and make a donation by credit/debit card (970-482-1620).

~ Come by the office and bring cash, card or check.
