When fall rolls around we finally can take a breath and host an event or two. Farm Events are your chance to come out to the farm for the first time or the tenth!
Either way you get to see where your food grows, meet the farmer and take home some delicious-ness.

Then the BIG EVENT for October is the Lehgh Valley Open Gate Farm Tour. This year it is held on SATURDAY & SUNDAY from 1 - 5.
Open Gate Farm Tour is a favorite event because the whole family is out greeting the tourists, giving tours or demonstrating something.
One of these years I want to listen to Farmer Reuben when he gives his talk and tour of the farm. People always learn something from him about organic farming or they are blown away by something he says.
The NEW EVENT for this month is a casual one - Beer with the Farmer at Bonn Place Brewing Company. Reuben and I are going to be hanging out for a few hours at our Bonn Place Pick Up Site on Wednesday October 16.
There's no excuse not to get to the farm this month! We'd love to see you!

This family farm uses organic methods to raise vegetables, cows, pigs, sheep and chickens. This year began milking cows and using their own milk to make cheese. You’re invited to come and try some of their products.
As always, their brick oven will be fired up and ready to make pizza for you. Also enjoy a hayride throughout the farm.
