Reminder of details for Association Day
INFORMATION FOR ASSOCIATION DAY,

FOR MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION OF THE PUPILS OF JILL GOODING CSB
THE ASSOCIATION WILL TAKE PLACE AT
OATLANDS PARK HOTEL,
OATLANDS DRIVE,
WEYBRIDGE, SURREY KT13 9HB
The Meeting will be held in the York Suite, (the hotel’s Conference Room). The Meeting commences at 9.30 a.m. and the doors open at 8.45 a.m. The Meeting usually finishes at approximately 4.45 p.m.
We appreciate all the donations that are given to our Association. As a not-for-profit organisation, your donations are eligible for gift aid (if you are a UK tax payer). As a guide, annual dues of £110-£120 should cover the costs of the Association for the year. We are grateful for any amount you can give, and recognise that some people may like to donate more, which is helpful in allowing the Association to cover the costs of those needing travel assistance and other financial support. Your donations to the Association also contribute towards thanking our teacher, Jill Gooding CSB, for her dedication and support to all the members of the Association throughout the year, and to show our gratitude for the Association address each year.
We have arranged with the hotel to provide lunch on Association day for everyone who is attending. We would be grateful if you could take this into account when making your donations to the Association. The cost to Association for lunch is £18.50/person.
TRANSPORTATION TO THE HOTEL.
The hotel is located in Weybridge, Surrey and is only a 10 minute drive from the M25, 30 minutes from Heathrow and 45 minutes from Gatwick. It is about an hour’s drive from central London.
The closest Rail Station to the hotel is Weybridge, with trains coming from Waterloo station in London. Weybridge station is just a short taxi ride to the hotel (cost approx. £7). If you wish to come from London Victoria station, you need to change trains at Clapham Junction for Weybridge. It is not possible to avoid a taxi ride from the station to the hotel. From London Heathrow Airport – taking a taxi to the hotel is the most direct way and will cost approximately £40 if booked in advance with one of the local taxi companies listed below. It is good to check the price with the taxi driver before starting your journey. Alternatively, use bus and train by taking the bus service to Woking, which calls outside each airport terminal every 30 minutes during the daytime. Then from Woking Rail Station, take a train to Weybridge. Continue to the hotel by taxi.
From London Gatwick Airport – take the London train and change at Clapham Junction for trains to Weybridge. Continue to the hotel by taxi. Gatwick to the hotel by taxi will cost approximately £60.
From Stansted Airport – take a National Express bus service into Victoria Coach Station, London, cross the road to Victoria Rail Station. Train to Weybridge Station, changing trains at Clapham Junction.
