 Childhood in Coleorton
Open Day
Saturday 5 October at Viscount Beaumont School between 2pm and 5pm.
We have a lot of old photos from schools and so on (see who you can identify in the photos). There will be various displays on the theme of children's lives in years gone by - toys, homes, schools - memories of growing up in Coleorton and elsewhere and a stand from Palitoy (who made Action Man, Tiny tears and Star Wars toys in their factory at Coalville.
We hope you will join in and share your memories around a cup of tea or coffee and cake. Bring your photos along.
 Not just for oldies - youngsters can contribute their stories about what it's like growing up today, and if you're new to Coleorton - why not share your own childhood stories and how it was different (or just the same!).
