Nominations announced for the COPAs

We were thrilled to see three of our member podcasts and one of our longtime affiliates nominated for Canadian Online Publishing Awards this week!

COPA nominated APN members and affiliates

EPIC Podcast, an exploration of emergency preparedness in Canada hosted by Grayson Cockett and Josh Bezanson, was nominated for best podcast in the business category.

Nominated in for best podcast in the consumer category were two member podcasts and an affiliate:

  • Speaking Municipally, Taproot's weekly podcast on civic affairs in Edmonton hosted by Troy Pavlek and Mack Male.
  • Not There Yet, a series of personal essays produced by Terence C. Gannon.
  • The Well-Endowed Podcast, the Edmonton Community Foundation's look at good works and the people who make them happen.
Shout-out as well to the Overdue Finds podcast from the Edmonton Public Library, also nominated in that category. We were pleased to promote it as an affiliate earlier this year.

The awards will be announced in Toronto in November.
