We are so excited that our Grand Opening will be Thursday, October 10, 2019, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.   The businesses and people of Livingston County have been so very generous in helping provide a place to take care of our needy.  We will have our ribbon cutting, a brief meeting, finger foods, refreshments, and a tour of the building.  Please come and be proud of this communities success in taking care of our needy.
 
November is coming fast.  Thanksgiving is closer than we think.  There are families who will have no Thanksgiving dinner without our help.  If you can donate one or more of the following food items, it would help tremendously.  Box turkey dressing, turkey gravy, instant potatoes, green beans, corn, canned cranberries, canned pumpkin pie filling, pie crusts. 
We will be accepting donations from the
first of October until November 20^th.
 
Our Winter Coat giveaway is November 8^th and 9^th. 
Please drop off any donations the week prior.
 
I know it sounds like a long time away but we are gearing up for Christmas.  The Children's Shopping Store and the Parents Shopping Store.  Just an FYI for everyone...we cannot accept stuffed animals or pillows.  Thank you for your consideration.  Christmas gifts will be accepted starting November 15^th.  The Christmas stores will be open every weekend in December.

We have lots of nice Halloween costumes at the pantry in all sizes.  Come and get your children's costume Friday and Saturday during October.  We will be giving out

Trick or Treat on Friday Oct 24 and Saturday Oct 25. 
 
On November 8th and 9th we will have our
Winter Coat Giveaway. 

Lots of Winter Coats, scarves, hats and gloves.  Be sure to come in and get yours before the weather turns.
We will have all sizes from newborn through adult.
 
We have been having questions about Christmas.  The schedule for Christmas giveaways are:  
Accepting donations of toys starting November 25^th.
 
We are in need of sock and shoes (men's and children).

Our Mission.

Bountiful Harvest’s mission is to stamp out hunger in the Brighton area and Livingston County. This is being accomplished through food drives, donations from businesses in Brighton, monetary and food donations from church members, and collaborations with area churches and schools, OLHSA and purchasing low cost food from Gleaners Community Food Bank, local supermarkets and merchants.

Bountiful Harvest is a client choice pantry. We are a member of the Livingston County Hunger Council and are partnered with OLHSA, and Gleaners Community Food Bank. There is a Resource Navigator available to help families with such needs as applying for a Bridge Card and getting help with dental, vision and medical needs.
