Marty's Message

Last week was a big week for our School of Business and Economics (SBE). It was filled with Kickstart Your Career activities throughout the week, then we co-hosted the Great Lakes Analytics Conference featuring alum Jeffery Polzer '88, a Harvard Business School professor, on Friday.

Also on Friday, the Anderson Classroom to Career Center held a dedication event that marked the opening to career placement and preparation services that are among the best offered at any university. Keith and Tammy Anderson’s gift will allow our students access to renowned speakers, career mentors and hundreds of professional development events; it will provide every SBE student with a top-notch internship experience; and; it will lend assistance and advising necessary to student success and helpful as they begin professional careers.

The Anderson C2C Center marks the third important component of becoming a top-tier School of Business and Economics. Three years ago, SBE became AACSB accredited, in September our MBA opened with an inaugural class of 46, and now the Anderson C2C Center opened which will distinguish our School of Business and Economics.

I invite everyone to tour the C2C Center on the first floor of CPS and find out more about what it has to offer!
