Traffic Alert
On Sunday, October, the Portland Marathon will cause street closures downtown and near the south waterfront. Check the route for traffic impacts.

Public Notice
SWHRL plans to transfer funds in its Save Our Elms ($1,050)  and Council Crest ($559.73) accounts to our General Account. Please email president@swhrl.org with questions or comments.
Join Southwest Neighborhoods Inc's Public Safety Committee and the SW Kiwanis for Community Policing Appreciation Night, Thursday, October 24, at 6:30, at Multnomah Arts Center. Support our officers by bringing hats, gloves, scarves and socks that they will distribute to those in need. We hope to see you at this family event. Please read more about all the fun!

Land Use Appeal before City Council
We present our appeal of the Hearings Officer decision on the proposed Tangent Village development to City Council on Wednesday, October 16th, at 2:00 PM, 1221 SW 4th Avenue, council chambers. Tangent Village is a 20-unit duplex/townhouse, Planned Development, located at the end of SW Tangent St, and between SW Davenport St and SW Broadway Drive. - Read more about it

The gardening crew meets TODAY, Saturday October 5th, from noon until 4:00, at the Vista/Spring garden, catty-corner from Ainsworth Elementary School.

Aubrey Russell will supply shovels, gloves, water and some snacks, but bring your own tools and gloves if you want. See you there!
