Autumn at Jekka's

It definitely feels like summer is over and winter is knocking on the door. We have had our last Open Day of the year, but that does not mean it is time to put our feet up, as we have Master Classes and the Bath Christmas Market plus talks at Highgrove and Garth Gardeners to look forward to. Our new season has started.

On the Herb Farm we are preparing for 2020, which includes cutting back, propagating cuttings and sowing seeds. See our new blog on sowing winter culinary herbs so you can also add fresh herbs to your festive period.

We have been delighted to have already been contacted by several landscape gardeners about their plans for next years' flower shows and growing plants for their gardens.

Winter Culinary Salad Herbs

To help you sow your winter culinary herb seeds, we have collaborated with Candide to create some 'How to Grow It' videos. The first two are on sowing seeds and taking cuttings.

Jekka's Seed Collection

Perfect as a gift or stocking filler, we have nine different seed collections ranging from Grow Native and Biodiversity to Edible Flowers and Culinary Herbs. We will also be selling these at this years' Bath Christmas Market (Chalet Number: 130 on Milsom Street, by the Waterstones) from Thursday 28th November - Sunday 15th December.
