AND JUST LIKE THAT THE SEASONS SHIFTED
It seems like yesterday that the temperatures were in the eighties and we were eating ice cream sandwiches under the shade of our blueberry bushes. Now, each morning, we're seeing a beautiful frost on the leaves of those same bushes and dreaming of wood stoves, hot cocoa, wool blankets, and baking. With the shifting seasons come many classes, tours, and pop-ups that we'll either be hosting here on the farm or at various locations throughout the area.
PIE CLASSES + FARM TOURS
Cozy up by the woodstove on the farm and learn how to make an entirely-from-scratch blueberry pie. We’ll be using a fall spice blend to complement the classic holiday spread. Our long-time employee, Rachel, and her mother will teach you a thing-or-two about making pies and the trends bakers are using to naturally color pie crust with our organic heirloom blueberry powder and juice. You'll leave Bow Hill with a ready-to-bake (or freeze) pie and the skills + tools needed to make homemade pies again and again. Rachel will teach three top crust designs (you may, of course, make up your own or use a favorite).
