October Contra Dance at the Legion Hall
Our October Contra Dance will be this Saturday, October 19 at 7:30 at the Legion Hall in Blowing Rock.
Warren Doyle will be calling for us this month while George Paul and Cailen Campbell will be providing the live music.
In addition to our regular New Dancer Workshop at 7:30, there will be a workshop for dancers of all experience levels at 6:45. It'll be a Q&A session with advice and assistance with flourishes and moves led by our own Marilyn Derr.
As always, no partner or experience required. New dancers are always welcome, and encouraged to attend the New Dancers' Workshop.
Schedule:
Dancer Q&A session at 6:45 PM
New Dancers Workshop at 7:30 PM (new and experienced dancers are welcome)
Contra Dancing 8-11 PM
Contra Dance admission:
Adults - $7 - $10, sliding scale
High School Students - $5
12 and under - FREE!
