Wow, we are still on Cloud Nine! Thank you to everyone who came to the concert at Hugh's Room and in Guelph. Performing for our friends and family in our home towns was very special for us.
There are more CD release concerts to come in Windsor, London, St. Catharines, and Barrie, so we're not done with the launching yet! I have been a fan of David Byrne since I was a teenager. At that time The Talking Heads were releasing pioneering art-rock-pop music albums like "More Songs About Buildings and Food" (still one of my favourites!). He has gone on to many fascinating projects in the worlds of theatre, film, writing, and music. And now he has started "Reasons to Be Cheerful," a website dedicated to spreading some of the good ideas that are working around the world.
Indigenous Astronomy
I was on my way to becoming an astronomer until partway through university, and I still love reading about space exploration and research into our universe. This article about Indigenous Astronomy caught my eye last week, just another example of how diversity in any field brings new perspectives and fresh ideas.

Monday is election day! It's never been more important to make your voice heard, so get out there and cast your vote. Check the Elections Canada website if you need more information about how and where to vote. If you are eligible to vote and you did not receive a voter information card, you can still register to vote, even at your polling station on election day.
