Joyful Intelligence | Carmel Sayer

Final Days

Last chance to experience this visually powerful and beautiful exhibition that closes on 3 November. Local, conceptual artist Carmel Sayer uses a series of installations to explore her notion of 'joyful intelligence'. What brings joy, what steals joy, how do these relate? Sayer's continued interest in institutionalised spirituality has led her to analyse the methods in which spiritual freedom is obtained.

This solo exhibition is a culmination of research, investigation and concept exploration following Sayer's twelve month artist residency at CASM in 2017.
