Reports are that we lost a number of lawn signs around town to the winds from Wednesday’s nor’easter as well as possibly some to a notorious Main Street jeweler and sign remover.
We are expecting to get a new batch of signs mid-week, so if you are looking for a replacement Conley, Byrne & Ehrlich lawn sign or never got one but would be happy to display one, please email me (davlub@optonline.net) and/or Joe Balwierczak at (jobaphd@verizon.net) ASAP.
We also have a number of Jasey and McKeon Assembly signs available if you would be willing to display one of them too. Just give us the word, and we’ll have them delivered to you as soon as we can.
If you or a member of your family received a mail-in ballot and have not returned it yet, please make sure they are returned as quickly as possible. Completed mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, November 5. Or you can return them in person to the Clerk's office to make sure it's received and completed right Remember if you received a mail-in ballot and go to the polls to vote, you will only be allowed to complete a provisional ballot.
If you need a ride to the polls, we have a number of willing drivers that can take you to and from the polls. If you know now that you will need a ride, please email me at davlub@optonline.net. I will need your name, address, email address, and phone number (preferably a cell phone number), your polling location, and the approximate time of day that you would like to be picked up.
We will be tracking the results of the Mayor and Council vote at the Madison Commons club house the evening of November 5 from 7:30 PM until 10:00 PM. We will be serving light refreshments and drinks as well as offering good Madison fellowship. Please join us. The club house is located off of East Common Rd next to the pool in the Madison Commons.
