"How can I get your produce and meats this winter?"

Don't panic- we'll have produce and meats available all winter long!
This year in lieu of winter shares, we are picking and stocking our farm stand throughout the week.

Our full-service hours starting November 1st are

Fridays 12 noon - 6 pm
and Saturdays 9 am - 12 noon,

and by appointment.

Outside these hours you can use our
self-service kiosk to check-out your produce, duck eggs, and honey. The self-service kiosk accepts cash, check, credit/debit cards and our Farm debit card as payment. Meats (pork, chicken and beef) are only available during our full-service hours or by appointment or if you happen to catch us there (which is not hard to do).

Want the best bang for your winter buck? Get our Farm Debit card which has built-in 10% credit that expires whenever our farm dies (which hopefully is never).

We're also working on an online-preorder form where you can pick out your produce and meats from our website, we pack your bag and leave for you to pick up at your convenience from our walk-in cooler. More on that as it develops!

Fresh round of pork and chicken available this week!

We'll be fully restocked this Wednesday on all your favorite pork cuts like sausage, uncured bacon, Boston butt, picnic roasts, pork chops, sirloin boneless chops, tenderloin, ham hocks, jowl, Italian links, and more! Our pigs are pasture-raised and rotated through our farm. In fact, I just mapped their passage since they arrived in March and so far their paddock moves have traveled a path of about 1.14 miles through our farm. These pigs are quite the trotters!

Last fresh chicken of the year this Friday, October 25 (starting at 3 pm).
Also coming in this week is our last round of fresh chicken, Again we'll be stocked with your favorite parts like boneless skinless breast, leg quarters, whole wing packs, chicken soup packs, whole chicken, livers, hearts and feet. Bulk pricing when you get 10+ whole chickens in one go! Like our pork, all our poultry is raised on 100% certified organic non-GMO feed milled locally in Elon, North Carolina. Frozen chicken will be available through the winter.

We're small scale farmers that use small-scale local butchers for our meats! Our animals are processed at Smith Valley Meats in Rich Creek, Va, EcoFriedly Foods in Moneta, Va and Donald's Meats in Lexington, Va.

* A note about turkeys- this spring I had trouble getting poults (baby turkeys) and so I have very limited turkey availability this year. Check back next year for 2020 turkey reservations!
