HB 265 Parental Consent Before Abortion Committee Meeting Tuesday and Vote
Although the legislative session doesn't official begin until January our legislators are busy preparing for session in committee meetings.
This bill must pass this year! The house Health and Human Services Committee will discuss and vote on this bill TUESDAY.

Message:
Thank you for supporting the Parental Consent Bill last year. The importance of passing this bill cannot be understated. We need to protect parental rights and protect a young girl from making a monumental decision without a parent's knowledge.
Message: Whether you agree with abortion or not, this is about excluding parents from helping a child make a life altering decision. This is blatantly wrong and encourages children to lie to their parents. Currently, minor girls do not have to get parental permission to have an abortion (but they cannot get an aspirin in school without permission). 3.
