Message:
Thank you for supporting the Parental Consent Bill last year.  The importance of passing this bill cannot be understated.  We need to protect parental rights and protect a young girl from making a monumental decision without a parent's knowledge.

Please vote yes again this year.  Praying this bill passes this year.

2. Representatives who voted no last year need to understand the implications of allowing a minor to have an abortion without parental consent.

Message:  Whether you agree with abortion or not, this is about excluding parents from helping a child make a life altering decision.  This is blatantly wrong and encourages children to lie to their parents.  Currently, minor girls do not have to get parental permission to have an abortion (but they cannot get an aspirin in school without permission).
3.  Representative Slosberg did not vote on two occasions asking her to vote yes this year (same message as above)Emily.Slosberg@myfloridahouse.gov;

Last year the house vote was basically along party lines and it didn't get out of the Senate committee process.
