Many of the Kmart influencers were mums, meaning they were juggling kids while running their Instagram or Facebook feeds.

Facebook group Kmart Mums Australia, has over 350,000 followers.

The writer had to admit she had a new found respect for anyone who does it (being an influencer), especially those Kmart queens who are not compensated for it.

Key takeaway is that by tapping into the right cultural insight & authentic partners, innovative and cool partnerships dominate when it comes to generating earned media.
