Hello everyone!

Looks like so-so weather on Tuesday, but so very needed by our farmers, our gardens, and all the trees.

  • possible carrot soup :)
Come on by our table for samples and a smile!

Thank you for your support,
Angelina and Crew

Perry-winkle Farm

We prepared for frost, but we didn't see any -- yeah!  Therefore, we will have another round of beans for you.  We will also have a cooler full of arugula, lots of sweet and spicy peppers, and beautiful eggplants.  There will be more cured butternut squash for roasting or soups.  The flower department will have bunches of celosias, marigolds, gladiolas by the stem and a bucket of zinnias. And there will be a rack full of mixed bouquets for your table. Pick up your eggs early, the hens are slowing down as the days get shorter.

with gratitude,

Hello everyone,

I will be at market this Tuesday and will bring you chorizo, Swiss chard and mushroom Gruyere quiches; pear almond, caramel and chocolate, and french apple tarts; I'll have the savory eggplant and porcini galettes; a blueberry Gateau basque; some far Breton (baked custard with sun dried plums soaked in rum); I'll have bags of thumbprint cookies, fig walnut and chocolate shortbreads, raspberry coconut and brown sugar squares, and GF olive oil and candied clementine brownies.

I'm planning on bringing a few individual pies as well so you get to try them before you're ready to order for your Thanksgiving feast.

Looking forward to your friendly faces tomorrow!
Cheers,
A
