My sketchbook and I have travelled together for what seems like forever. Whether I'm on the road for work or on time off, I always have it handy with some of my favourite tools ready to capture what is happening at the moment. My most beloved place to take my sketchbook is the garden, this is where the best stories are made. I often just quickly capture the moment and then savour the experience later on by working on the sketch when I have time. Some of my sketches tell a story, some are of the place and others include a favourite poem.
