Here's what's happening at McAlpine this week. This week is the FINAL Week to donate to the Everyone Counts Campaign!

November 8th - Spelling Bee (Spelling Bee is for participants' families only in D1 from 11-12 pm on Nov. 8th. Participants will receive invitation. Ask your student's homeroom teacher if you have questions.)

Your contributions made our Everyone Counts Campaign a HUGE success!

October is National Bullying Prevention Month, a time to focus and raise awareness on bullying. Students are encouraged to wear orange every Monday this month.

Boo Grams - on sale in front of the office tomorrow and Tuesday from 7:15-7:45am. They are $1.00 each and will be delivered on Thursday with a piece of non-chocolate candy during Fall Treats. Send to friends, teachers, and staff!

REMINDER: Please download the Chick-fil-A and place your mobile order between 3pm and 8pm on Tuesday, October 22nd at Stonecrest.

Eagles Night Out is this Tuesday, October 22nd, at Chick-fil-A in Stonecrest Shopping Center from 3-8pm. This is our ONLY spirit night at Chick-fil-A this year so let's make it a great one! As a reminder only MOBILE orders will count towards our total. Use this link to find our more about the app.

October 28th - Parent Conferences
(No School)

CMS requires all teachers to have a conference with all parents regarding their child’s progress for the 1st Quarter. If you have not yet already, please reach out to your student's teacher to select a time that works best for you. Please let your teacher know if you have any questions or concerns about conference times.

Thank you first graders! The court yard looks magnificent!

Ask your student what they are doing in math? Our amazing McAlpine teachers make learning fun!

3rd graders were junior architects designing a movie theater while learning about arrays.

4th graders are using Flipgrid to show how to add numbers in the thousands using algorithm method (parents, this is how we learned math, but we didn’t have computers...we used chalk boards)!

The Friday Puzzle Club is much larger than last year and is in need of some more puzzles. These can be puzzles of any kind: floor puzzles, regular puzzles, word search, cross words, etc. This club is geared toward grades 3-5, so 100 pieces are ideal. If you happen to have any puzzles at home you would like to donate, it would be greatly appreciated! You can leave them in the front office with a note for the Puzzle Club. Thanks you!

Countries Club would like to invite parents to speak during our club time this year. We are learning about countries around the world. Lessons should be geared toward K-2 students in our club and would only be 30 minutes long. This would take place on a Friday from 1:50-2:30 PM.
