Earlier this year, at Marchland festival, we premièred Ionic - a dance theatre piece by Théâtre Volière based on the life and exquisite poetry of Constantin Cavafy. This Monday, we perform the piece again at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, as part of the launch event for "Customs and Duty" - a new collection of poetry commissioned for Marchland.

My score incorporates settings of six Cavafy poems performed by the great Savina Yannatou with classical guitarist Nikos Baroutsakis and myself on electric guitar.

Following my performance at FestivALT back in June (of which you can photos here), I was delighted to be asked to compose music and sound design for the collective's new critically-minded golf-cart meta-tour "Unseen", which was commissioned by Unsound as part of its Kraków 2019: Solidarity edition. Tours ran hourly throughout the daytimes and explored the complications, nuances, and cultural confusion of contemporary Kazimierz (Kraków's former Jewish quarter).

Last month I released a new track called "Lungs of the Earth", which I wrote, recorded and produced within a 24-hour period after hearing about the forest fires in the Amazon.

I also made a video for the track using stunning drone footage of the Amazon before and after the recent fires.
