Begins New Book Study

Men, what a great opportunity to join our Men's group on Monday mornings and begin reading a new book, Soul Keeping by John Ortberg. The women of the parish have been reading this book and highly recommend it. Books can be purchased from Amazon.

Decoding the Clues
After a Sunday of Stewardship, KidZone is going to return it's focus on the 7 Signs in John. This Sunday, the children will use their detective skills from the summer to follow clues that were left in the Old Testament to reveal the 5th Sign in John.

  • Fulfill a KidZone OCC Shoebox Supply Request Slip (they will be available after church on Sunday)
  • Make a Monetary Donation to Support the Shipping Costs
  • Grab and Shoebox and Pack one as a Family
All donations and shoeboxes should be returned on or before Sunday, November 3rd.

Please keep Fr. Kendall in your prayers this weekend. He is speaking/leading a retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Hendersonville, NC. The theme of the weekend is "Graciously Engaging the Consuming Fire: Biblical Reflections on Prayer."

We join Jessica Parish and Joey Sechrist in celebrating the birth of their son, John Daniel, born on October 23rd. Special blessings to grandparents, Johnny & Teresa Parish.

A Unity in the Community Barbeque is scheduled form November 2, from 3-7pm at St. John's Chapel at 18 Hanover Street. See Flyer for more information and for tickets.
This fundraiser will aid in providing Ring security cameras for residences within the community. This initiative partners with Charleston Police Department.
