Kraft Heiz Project Play Competition
Incredible news and a sincere request for help
Larch Hills Nordic Society in Salmon Arm has been selected as one of the 4 finalists in ‘Kraft Heinz Project Play’ and stands to win $250,000 for their trail lighting project. It’s a Canada-wide contest and it’s all going to come down to who gets the most online votes. Larch Hills is going to do everything humanly possible to rally their members and community, but they’ll need all the help they can get from our wider ski community. It is estimated that more than 500,000 votes will be needed to win. Individuals can vote multiple times, likely 100+ times per hour.

Turkeys Loose at Caledonia
The first annual Turkey Trot running race was a huge success raising $630 for cross country and biathlon race teams. People came ready for fun dressed in costume and bright colors. People made off with turkeys, brussel sprouts, pies, and cranberry sauce as prizes making it truly fun event. Rob Vogt brought in the win with a time of 23:30. When asked if it will be back next year, a resounding yes was given. A big thank you to all the volunteers who made this happen.
