International Space Investment initiative –
first grant guidelines released
Today we are launching the International Space Investment (ISI) initiative - Expand Capability program guidelines after consultations across the country.
The initiative forms a key element of the Australian Civil Space Strategy and will align with Australia’s National Civil Space Priorities, building on our strengths in areas of competitive advantage.
The Expand Capability stream is an open, competitive grant opportunity that will provide funding of between $100,000 to $4 million to Australian businesses and research organisations. The funding is for projects that build the capability and capacity of the Australian space sector through engagement with international space agencies or their supply chains.
The Department of Industry, Innovation and Science is responsible for administering the program on behalf of the Australian Space Agency.
Grants will open 5 November 2019, and close at 5pm AEDT 17 December 2019
