MIDTOWN DISTRICT

Get your walkin’ shoes ready! The 8th Midtown Walkabout is this Saturday, October 19, 2pm - 6pm, and will feature fall vibes and good times for all. Midtown merchants will be providing specials, discounts, in-store activities, and giveaways during the event.

There will also be free programming to enjoy throughout the district such as face painting, live art, kids’ crafts, a photo booth and more.

Industry Flea is this Saturday, October 19, 10am - 6pm and coincides with the Midtown Walkabout. Industry Flea is an open-air market of artisans, shops and vintage finds at the corner of 10th and Hudson in Midtown. It's a place where start-up businesses launch, old things find new homes, tasty treats are savored and small vendors get to know their customers face-to-face.

BRICK-OR-TREAT

The Bricktown Association will host the 6th annual Brick-or-Treat candy hunt for kids in costume on Monday, October 28, 4pm - 7pm at various businesses throughout the district in downtown Oklahoma City.

Parents and guardians are invited to bring their children to Bricktown to trick-or-treat at participating businesses. This event is free and open to the public, and trick-or-treaters must be under the age of 14 and be in costume to receive free gifts or candy.

This year's trick-or-treating map has over 50 participating businesses!

SPOOKY POOCH PARADE

MYRIAD BOTANICAL GARDENS | 301 W RENO


Grab your costume and bring your dog to the Spooky Pooch Parade on the Devon Lawn. Enjoy spooky music by our DJ Brian Smith with muttradio.com, a performance by OKC Disc Dogs, and our parade of pooches. Special guest judges, Cruella de Ville and Captain Hook will present prizes to the best and most creatively dressed pooches. Bring the family and participate or watch from the sidelines. Spectators welcome!

JONESTOPBERFEST

Grab your lederhosen or dirndls and head to The Jones Assembly for the 2nd Annual Jonestoberfest. This is a free event taking place on The Jones Assembly patio. They will celebrate in true Jones Assembly style with a day full of food, spirits, and music. This time in the form of German grub, bier, and folk music

Jonestoberfest will take place on their patio and is open to the public. Reservations for brunch and dinner in the dining room can be made at TheJonesAssembly.com or in the Resy app.
UNDERGROUND CLOSURE NOTICE

BANCFIRST TOWER


Beginning Monday, October 21, a portion of the Underground south of the Green Hall will be closed due to renovations of BancFirst Tower. Only the area below BancFirst Tower will be closed during construction. The remainder of the Underground will be open regular business hours, Monday - Friday, 6am - 8pm.

  • NORTH of closure at current BancFirst HQ
  • SOUTH of closure at the Sheraton Hotel, Continental Resources, or the elevator in the basement of BancFirst Tower

PUMPKINVILLE

MYRIAD BOTANICAL GARDENS | 301 W RENO

 

Pumpkinville opened last Friday at the Myriad Botanical Gardens. The popular Children’s Garden has been transformed into a pumpkin town and feature thousands of pumpkins, hundreds of gourds, a variety of fall foliage and tons of fun activities. The cost to attend is $8 per person. Admission is free for members and children 2 & under. Includes admission to Pumpkinville and Mo’s Carousel.
