----
My name is Paula Schunova and I am a student at Northampton uni.

I am currently completing my dissertation and would like to know if it is possible to distribute this advert amongst your runners.

I am looking for moderately trained runners willing to participate in my research study for my dissertation which is based on using specific warm ups as a means of improving endurance performance.

I would love to hear from you soon. Meanwhile I have attach 2 flyers which contain further information, if you could spread these somehow that would be amazing.

Thank you for your time,

Kind regards,
Paula Schunova.

parkrun Road Trip - Wendover Woods parkrun

Our next Redway Runners parkrun road trip will be to Wendover Wood parkrun on Saturday 30 November, we will aim to get a big green photo near the start at 8.50am. The parkrun is at Wendover Woods, Forestry Commission, Chilterns Office, Upper Icknield Way, Aston Clinton, Aylesbury, HP22 5NF

More at:

We have also arranged it so the Saturday Trail Finder run will also start not too far away at 10.15, so another option for those coming along

Cross Country Ready for Match 2

Our next match is on Saturday 9 November at Teardrop Lakes.

If you wish to run and have not already registered please email Katie or James on Katie.tucker89@gmail.com or jamesdown1986@me.com with your name, DOB and EA number, you just need to wear your club green top

Stephen Scott and Douglas Yabsley always do an AMAZING job at hosting our RR area by putting up the tent, supplying us with hot tea and coffee and packing it away after. (Thank you to those that always offer to help too)! Please can we ask for some help for this match both putting up and at the end of the day? just let Stephen or Douglas know if you can help for the next match or reply to this mail and will forward on. We often take this luxury for granted so big thank you to the Yabsley’s and Steve for this.

Also the league has asked that each team supplies a marshal point at least one match. Ours is conveniently at one of the MK matches - Teardrops. Can we please have some volunteers to marshal the course? If we have a handful of volunteers it means we can rotate throughout the day and one person doesn’t need to do it all day! Team work. Let us know if you can help.

If you raced before this season the number is now yours and you can bring it to every match, or you have to pay an admin fee of £3 for a replacement

Excited to see an even bigger turn out for round 2!

Sunday 17 November 2019

At a secret location (TBC) near to New Bradwell / Oakridge Park area of Milton Keynes.

Starting between 9am -10am in teams of 4 club members leaving at minute intervals looking for hidden letters using a grid map and cryptic clues. One person can register the whole team by entering a 'Team Name' and all 4 Team Member details, first ensuring that their club profiles are up to date regarding emergency contact details and medical conditions. (The organisers reserve the right to withdraw any team where this has not been done)

Due to the time limit it will be restricted to 60 teams (240 participants) so please ensure that you will attend this event so as not to deprive others in the event of a non attendance.
