Annual VPS staff campaign benefits students

The annual VPS staff campaign kicks off this week, inviting VPS teachers and staff to donate through payroll deduction or other methods to support the work of the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools, Citizens' Committee for Good Schools and United Way.

Buildings will run campaigns between now and Nov. 22. Campaign coordinators in every school and administrative building will distribute pledge forms and provide information on how to participate.

"Thanks to the generosity of many individuals and organizations, the Foundation for VPS has removed barriers to learning associated with poverty for more than 30 years,” said Nada Wheelock, Executive Director of the Foundation for VPS. “Vancouver students are tremendously fortunate to be surrounded by those who care deeply about their well-being. Donations provide a sense of hope, investing in success for all students.”

Thank you to all VPS staff who make gifts through the staff campaign. Your contributions help build a brighter future for the students of Vancouver Public Schools and for others throughout our community.
