In, out, in, out. The hokey kokey treaty.

The only real difference between Boris's treaty and Theresa May's surrender treaty is regarding the 'Northern Irish backstop' - the rest of the rotten deal is really unchanged.

If Theresa May's deal had been called 'The EU Constitution' then Boris's deal would be called 'The Lisbon Treaty' - both virtually the same thing... an old EU trick.

It was predicted that the fuss over the 'backstop' was a smoke screen to avoid attention being paid to the rest of the deal - but this trick failed and the rest of the deal has been picked apart again and again and is 'BRexit In Name Only' (BRINO).

Also the deal does not actually start for two years - following a so called 'transition period' during which we remain under EU control, but have no representation or say over anything the EU do. Who is to say this 'transition' won't be exteneded indefinitely?

Anyway, here is the Bruges Group briefing on the deal as tentatively agreed between Boris and the EU.
