Hi <<First Name>>,
Lately, I've seen a slew of articles about the need to reclaim the 'lost skills' our ancestors knew—things like sewing, home repairs, preserving food and cooking meals from scratch.
Our ancestors wouldn't have survived without these and other necessary skills. But it isn't just practical skills that ensured our survival—our forefathers also needed to connect, communicate, collaborate and build community. Without the ability to do these things, we would not have survived, never mind thrived.
As the historian, Yuval Noah Harari points out; 'The real difference between us and chimpanzees is the mysterious glue that enables millions of humans to cooperate effectively. This mysterious glue is made of stories, not genes.'
Storytelling is an essential life skill, not just a worthwhile business skill.
Since the beginning of this year, I've been working with Seth Godin to design and build The Story Skills Workshop.
Our goal is simple. We want to help you to find, craft and tell the stories that will help you to achieve your goals and create the impact you want.
Registration for the first public session of the workshop (and last one for this year) opens next week.
I'm sharing a lifetime of learning about how to tell stories to connect and persuade, influence and inspire in this workshop. I hope you'll join us.

Thanks, as always for being here. It's a privilege and a joy to share ideas with you.
Warmly,
Bernadette
