November has arrived! Here's what's happening at the Museum.
November is a time for us to reflect and remember sacrifices given. The Collingwood Legion will be holding its annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the cenotaph on Monday, November 11. The parade starts at 10:30 and the ceremony will begin at 11:00. The legion invites the community to a chili lunch following the ceremony. Please note the Collingwood Museum will be open 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.

If you're interested in more events, the Collingwood Public Library is hosting  Remembrance Week. Visit 5thstreet.ca/remembrance-week for full details.

Join us for the last Collectors Night of 2019!

This community event is an opportunity to show off your favourite piece of Blue Mountain Pottery, learn about the company's history and connect with enthusiasts.
You are invited to participate in the creation of a new exhibit! Staff are looking for one word descriptors to help inform an exhibit about one of Collingwood’s most memorable events – the sideways launching of ships into Collingwood’s harbour.

The deadline for submission is Monday, November 4. Register to share your word and story on the Engage Collingwood platform. Words may also be contributed in person, or by phone, at the Museum  during regular hours of operation.
