Just when you thought Starbase Indy 2019 couldn't be more fun - see who else will be joining us on Thanksgiving weekend!

SBI welcomes Indianapolis native Mimi Craven to our 2019 convention!
Best known by Trek fans for playing Jisa in the Star Trek: Voyager sixth season episode "Dragon's Teeth", Mimi is also known by horror fans for her appearances in Swamp Thing and the original Nightmare on Elm Street.

In addition to other movie roles and guest appearances on shows such as Beauty and the Beast and The Twilight Zone, she also has a successful career as a professional photographer of celebrities, artists and other public figures, including Quincy Jones, Sharon Stone, the painter Balthus, and the Dalai Lama.

We are pleased to add fan favorite and geek comic extraordinaire Mikey Mason to this year's lineup! Since his release in 2011 of She Don’t Like Firefly, Mikey has been a frequent guest at conventions, finding inspiration for his music and comedy in his lifelong love for fantasy, science fiction, cats, video and role-playing games. His ninth full-length geek rock album, M, was released this July and continues combining his geeky endeavors with his art.

Keith R.A. DeCandido has been a published writer for 25 years, and in that time has written more than 50 novels, more than 100 short stories, dozens of comics and graphic novels, and more nonfiction than he cares to count. His Trek-related books include The Klingon Art of War, the 2005 novel Articles of the Federation, and the Next Generation novel A Time for War, a Time For Peace. He's written in more than 30 other licensed universes, including Farscape, Supernatural, Orphan Black, and Serenity. And this year, he will be joining us at Starbase Indy 2019! (Also, since we've already had people hopefully asking: yes, he will have books available for purchase!)
