Sabbath School and Personal Ministries Department
1. A Mission 2020 Evangelism Summit will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 9:45 am - 12:00 noon at the EJC Boardroom. This summit will discuss the actual preparation for the year of Mega Evangelistic Reaping and Mission 2020 Pentecostal Initiative, January to April 2020. Pastors, Elders, Personal Ministries Leaders, Sabbath School Superintendents, Interest Coordinators and Bible Counsellors are especially invited. Read more in letter below.

2. Sabbath, November 9, 2019, there will be a Grand, Conference-wide Mission 2020 Prayer Convocation.
3. Lay Preachers Training at EJC headquarters has begun and will continue on Tuesdays, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The Bible Counsellors Training is also in progress and continues on Thursdays, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Come join us and be equipped to co-labour with Christ!

Health, Stewardship and Wills & Trust Services

3. All Health Ministries Leaders who have not done the recently held certification training are encouraged to register for this certification programme to be conducted on this Sunday, October 20 and November 3, 2019 in the E.J.C boardroom, 9:30 a.m.- 4:00 pm. Contribution is three thousand dollars ($3,000).
4. Graduation for Lay Medical Missionary and Health Ministries Leaders’ Training will be on November 30, 2019.
5. Health Ministries and HIV/AIDS Day will be observed on November 30, 2019, and not December 7 as was previously communicated.
6. Stewardship Emphasis Week will be from December 1 – 7, 2019.

1. Women’s Symposium –All Women’s Ministries Directors & Team members we expect at least 2 persons from each church, Sabbath, November 16, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. @ EJC Boardroom. See poster.
2. The 9th staging of our annual Bible Spellathon will be held @ EJC Boardroom on Sabbath, November 23, 2019 beginning at 3:00 p.m. Registration closes October 25.

East Jamaica Conference Education Department uses this medium to inform all stakeholders of The Kingsway High, Kindergarten and Preparatory, Hagley Park Preparatory, Miramar Kinder-Preparatory, New Hope Preparatory and Woodford Preparatory Schools that these schools will be closed from Tuesday, October 22 to Friday, October 25, 2019 to facilitate an off-campus staff development seminar.
