Attention DowntownDC Stakeholder:

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will begin roadwork on 16th Street from K Street to Irving Street NW on October 16. This will temporary close lanes in both directions while the District repairs bus pads. The work is expected to be completed by October 26.
The work will take place from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm each day. During this time at least one lane will be open to traffic in either direction.
Traffic control devices will be put in place to direct motorists through the work zone. All travelers should anticipate moderate delays in the area. Motorists are advised to stay alert and to be observant of the work zone.
