Federal Election 

Register for the Fall cohort of our Healthy Relationships, Sexuality & Autism program 
The program will start on October 29th and take place every Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Dalhousie University.

Autism Nova Scotia is starting another term of our Healthy Relationships, Sexuality and Autism program. The program runs once a week for 13 weeks.

Topics include:
- Anatomy & Function
- Gender & Sexual Orientation
- Sexual Health
- Sexual Behaviours
- Relationships
- Dating
- Emotions

Who: Individuals with autism ages 19 and up.
Where: Dalhousie University (Kenneth Rowe Building)
When: Tuesdays from 6-8pm

The COMM ACCESS Program is for youth ages 18 - 24 who identify as having a disability. This program will be offered from October 2019 to March 2020. This is a day program where there will be personal development, self-advocacy, and employment skills workshops and weekly recreational activities. There will also be time to create community and employment engagement action plans, so you can reach your goals. To apply for the COMM ACCESS Program, please download the application (you can fill it out right on your computer) and send the completed application to Carrie at cernst@ilns.ca.  

Learn to Boccia (pronounced bot-cha) is a precision ball sport with similarities to curling or bowling. Players throw, roll, or kick their ball with the goal of landing it closest to the white “jack” ball.  Learn to Boccia is brought about in partnership with Northwood.

When: Thursdays 7- 8:30 pm September - November and January - March

Where: Northwoordcare Inc. (2615 Northwood Terrace, Edward L. Roach Building in the Shirley Burnstein Hall)

Who: Adults of all abilities

Cost: There are no fees.
