Dear Food Bank Supporters,
I hope you are doing well.
The Food Bank's 24th annual Take a Bite Out of Hunger benefit auction is happening Saturday, October 12, at St. Demetrios Hall. It is our main fundraiser for 2019. We expect 325 people to attend and to raise $250,000 for Food Bank programs. Tickets can be purchased here.
The theme this year is Thanking Our Lucky Stars. You are one of our stars, whether you've donated your time, talent, treasure or simply advocated on our behalf. We could not have met the increased demand for our services (Walk-In Food Bank, Packs For Kids, Home Delivery) or expanded programming, such as adding the North Seattle Pantry, without your support!
We hope that you will attend your celebration! We have a great start to our auction items, but need more restaurant certificates, hotel stays and local travel options in general. Please let us know if you want to network on our behalf and procure an item or two. You will be elevated from star to superstar! You can view the current item list here.
