Arts and partnerships are an integral part of our connection with the community. Sunday’s Oversight panel is just one example and we hope that, whether this is your first awareness of this discussion or not, you will be able to drop in.

Also want to share that on this Wednesday evening, October 16, at 6pm, under the auspices of the Coalition on Race (CCR), a SOMA volunteer group is organizing a candlelight vigil at Spiotta Park to observe the 400th anniversary of Jamestown—the arrival of the first enslavement ship in America.  Please bring candle(s).  And we hope that programs at the library and around town shed some light on all to which we aspire.
