LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Sacred Heart School Family,

I would like to take an opportunity to respond to you, our parents, in regard to concerns that have recently been expressed concerning the overall discipline in our school.  During our summer teacher meetings, discipline was discussed in great detail. From those discussions, we have implemented some important changes from last year to this year and we are confident they are having an impact.  We are now utilizing a new discipline referral form that has greatly improved the communication process between the school and parents.  These forms also allow the school to keep accurate disciplinary records. During the first nine weeks of school, the teachers have expressed satisfaction and are pleased with the new discipline protocols.

Most of all, I want to thank our parents for helping us with the discipline issues.  So far this year there have been very few repeat offenses.  Specifically, I want to thank parents for helping us with dress code compliance.  Compared to previous years, we have had very few dress code violations.

We make every effort to listen to our families and to respond to your concerns. Your input on surveys has been helpful in creating needed policies and other changes at SH. We are now asking for your feedback on surveys that are needed as part of our ANSAA accreditation process. Please see the box below and complete the survey asap.

Thank you again for your input and your commitment to Sacred Heart.

Thank you,
Buddy Greeson
