Presented by Stu Garrett, NPSO: High Desert Chapter Founder

Time: 7pm - 8pm
Where: East Bend Library meeting room; 62080 Dean Swift Road.
Stu is the Sage-grouse Conservation Coordinator for the East Cascades Audubon Society, a truly special guest. He will discuss the recent dramatic drops in our grouse populations across the state. Sage-grouse are biologically unusual and have adapted to the challenging ecology of the sagebrush steppe. Stu will shed some light on the historical events that have led to the conditions we see on the High Desert today and how we can implement change to help the survival of the sage-grouse.
