Join our local police officers for a cup of coffee! Attending a Coffee with a Cop event is an easy way to get to know the men and women who serve our community and let them know about the issues that matter most to us.

Property Tax Bills

Property tax bills have been mailed. If you haven't received yours by Friday, November 1, 2019, you should call the Treasurer and Tax Collector’s Bill Request Line at 1(213) 893-1103 and request a Substitute Secured Property Tax Bill.

You can pay your property tax online now. Electronic check payments are free and only require your bank routing and checking account information and the Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your property. You can locate the PIN on the Annual Secured Property Tax Bill or any original property tax bill.

Did you know that you can designate a third party (e.g., a friend, family member or agency) to receive a copy of past due notices. While third parties are not responsible for paying the bill, they can remind you that your property tax may be in default, or remind you to take action to prevent you from losing your property in the event of a tax sale. Senior citizens, those with language limitations, and others who require special assistance are among those who may benefit from this program. If you would like to enroll in this program, please visit our website at ttc.lacounty.gov/third-party-property-tax-notification-program .

Party House Procedure News

DSPNA (Doheny Sunset Plaza Neighborhood Association) met with Captain Steve Lurie recently, the new commander at Hollywood Station.
In discussing the party house problem, he said that if a party is keeping neighbors up at 2 am, they should phone 911. This is a change from our previous direction to call the non-emergency # (877-ASK-LAPD) in all cases.
