A Patient Turned Medical Disruptor, Hacking His Own Disease: Onno Faber, a tech entrepreneur was diagnosed with rare disease (Neurofibromatosis) and leveraged a community of hackers and data scientists to find a novel approach to treat his condition. Onno has gone on to found RDMD, a platform to leverage similar approaches to many rare diseases. In this compelling talk at Exponential Medicine 2018 Onno shared his journey, and lessons learned in accelerating research & the development of new therapies.
