You get the boats ready, we'll get the fun ready.

What a great turn out! Again we are encouraged by the steady growth of the PIC Coastal Classic: on Friday 25 October we're expecting to see 140+ Monohulls, 16 multihulls and 18 rally boats embark on an epic weekend of coastal sailing. It's more than a yacht race.

While this week you're all preparing your boats and crew - we're putting the final pieces in place to make sure you can have a lot of fun.

The Sailing Instructions are ready now, and can be referenced quickly via the PIC Coastal Classic app, or online our website. There will also be a printed copy in your skippers pack to be collected at registration on Thursday 24th, from 5pm at RNZYS.

DUKE TAVERN UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT

The Duke Tavern is under brand-new ownership, Lucy and Gary Best recently aquired the pub. They have lived in NZ for 5 years (from the UK) with their two young sons, and are working around the clock to put on a fabulous event for us on Labour Weekend.

Lucy is a qualified wedding and events co-ordinator, and Gary is a carpenter with 21 years expereince - a pretty handy duo with many talents we will see put into action shortly. They have a long time love affair with pubs and the sense of community they can bring, as we all know. Help us support them in bringing The Duke, our race HQ in Russell, back to life!
