October 2019 Newsletter

Board Message

Hello HABA -

Our annual banquet was a great success on October 4th.  We had over 120 people attend, representing law firms, government entities, non-profits, schools and universities, private and public companies, and the support of our fellow bar associations.  Check out our banquet sponsors and the link to our photobooth photos below.  Our preliminary estimates are that we raised enough funds to offer another scholarship next year and continue with our programs!

This December we invite you to get to know other HABA members while making a difference.  HABA is coordinating a volunteer session at Feed My Starving Children where we will work in teams to pack nutritious meals to kids in need all over the world.  I've volunteered before at Feed My Starving Children and it's always a fun and meaningful experience.  You are encouraged to bring friends and family. I hope you will sign up today!

- Mai Lee Yang, HABA President
