Winter weather is fast approaching!
Snow removal is one of the most important safety activities performed by local governments. Everyone, especially emergency rescue workers, counts on public works departments to clear roads quickly after snowstorms.
These CIRMA Training and Education programs provide a thorough introduction to safe snowplow operation to new operators; it is also a good refresher course for experienced drivers at the start of the season. The program discusses proper preparation, defensive driving and spreading operations, as well as the many new snow removal technologies. Training is free to CIRMA members!
